Eligibility: Ph.D. thesis submitted or defended in Inorganic chemistry with main emphasis on bioinorganic chemistry. Candidates having working experience in the bioinorganic chemistry along with synthetic organic chemistry knowledge to carryout multistep synthesis and also hands on skills in the analytical and spectral techniques, viz., Fluorescence, Absoprtion, CD and Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC) and having impressive publications based on their doctoral work will be preferred.
Salary: Consolidated salary Rs.16000/- p.m.
Job Profile: Synthesis and characterization and interaction studies by experimental and computational studies. This is expected to lead to the understanding of protein-carbohydrate interactions using model molecular systems as a first step of entry into glycobiology
