Job Details: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India sponsored project entitled “Design and development of microsystems, optimization of micromachining process parameters and micro tool condition monitoring system”. Dr. M. Kantha Babu is the Principal Investigator and Dr. S. Hosimin Thilagar and Dr. T.V. Moorthy are the Co-Investigators. Dr. R. Balasubramanian and Prabhat Ranjan of Precision Engineering Division, BARC, Mumbai are the Principal Collaborators of this project.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech with Ist class (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, Mechatronics).

Desirable: Research attitude, knowledge in sensors, machining, tool  condition monitoring, signal processing and  microgrippers will be an added advantage
